Selkirk, MB - The SHOCK 15's rolled into Selkirk this year to face new competition this season and to see how they measure up against other teams at the 15u level. Throughout the weekend, the girls were tested numerous times, and showed some true grit by finishing strong in the final after a bit of a slow start. SHOCK started Friday with 2 wins to set the stage for Saturday morning, which saw a closed bridge affect travel to the gym. In familiar fashion, the group stepped up, and used the adversity to fuel a strong playoff push, with 2 sets wins coming against both Big Sand and Dynamo in the final to seal the deal. Strong offensive contributions from Alexa Wieczorkiewicz and Mia Hildebrandt, followed by some expected strong serving from setter Victoria Duester, helped push SHOCK to the top of the chart for this weekend. back to work for a week before enjoying some time off over the Spring Break.
